Malian music is reminiscent of the blues. The music takes me into a journey of pure bliss, where my physical form, literally connects with Spirit. I am especially enthralled by the allure of the Kora. Although I lament the music of Mali, I cannot ignore the current humanitarian crisis in the country. Let us enjoy the beauty of this music, while recognising the pain and suffering going on in Mali right now. Please support the People of Mali in whichever way that you can.
